In UP Open University, most of its programs if not all have its classes conducted online. This is true for the DCS program, where all courses use the ODeL (Open and Distance eLearning) framework and are conducted online asynchronously. However, it is also still dependent on the faculty handling the course should they wish to schedule a synchronous class--and though rare--even a face-to-face meeting.
The same conditions and considerations exist regarding the exams. Typically, exams will be conducted online either accessible only for a limited time or requiring a submission of a paper. These are once again under the faculty-in-charge's (FIC) purview.
We advise students to keep track on announcements from their FIC and review course guides that are provided for every course to check on deadlines.
