The free tuition is eligible for Filipino citizens and undergraduate programs only. As the DCS program is a diploma degree, students under this cannot avail the free tuition. Furthermore, students who already hold a Bachelor's degree are not eligible.
For students who were able to avail the free tuition, they should note that they must finish the program within a year of the prescribed period (e.g. the BAMS program prescribes 4 years of study for full time students, therefore a free tuition student must complete the program in 5 years). The reckoning date is from when the student first enrolled in UP.
