How do I apply for EXT/4.0?

What is EXT?

The grade of EXT is given when a student must complete missing requirements. They have one year to complete their requirements and must be enrolled or in residency during the semester/trimester they complete it. After completion, the student may earn any numerical grade or re-enroll when the date for completion has lapsed.

What is 4.0?

The grade of 4.0 is for when a student has received a grade below passing. There is one year for a student to remove their grade of 4.0 during which they must be enrolled or in residency. Upon removing their 4.0, a student can earn either a grade of 3.0 or 5.0 only. Their grade will automatically become 5.0 when the date for removal has lapsed.

What to do to complete an EXT or remove a 4.0?

The student must apply through the Student Portal, which contains the application and details regarding the process. Upon application, the student must contact their FIC for the course they are completing or removing for further instructions.
